My role was to overlook the bar area to ensure both staff and customers were attended to effectively and efficiently. I regularly handled money and customer issues whether that consisted of issues with food or members of staff. I was also responsible for the low-key management of staff to ensure a safe and reliable premise. Communication was a skill I developed and improved upon during this role. This role I was hired for temp work that lasted 4 months. My responsibilities was data entry into a sage system account, insight into problems arised, generating profit/loss reports along with tax certificates and depreciation of capital. I was taken on as an assisting manager to the pub, my roles and responsibilities was to ensure the effectiveness of staff, dealing with customer issues, handling payroll, stock management and staff rotas. I was also working the accounts system in the back office, updating income and expediture revenues and creating reports on findings to improve the company financially.
