      As Part Time Tutor/Module Leader, I taught level one (10 credit) Module LLLC1304 “Islam in Western Societies” which was part of the Arabic and Islamic Studies Programme, run by the Lifelong Centre at the University of Leeds. The module explored the experience of Muslim communities living in Western societies. Students considered theories, perspectives and policies in relation to such issues as integration, discrimination, identity, citizenship and multiculturalism. The module also looked at the relationship between Islamic and democratic discourses and practices. As Teaching Assistant in the School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS), University of Leeds, I conducted two seminars in International Politics.

I also interviewed several American scholars on Washington’s role in the management of conflict prone relationship between Pakistan and India and US war on terrorism. At SAIS, I also gave a presentation on Pakistan’s ambiguous role in the US war in Afghanistan.
