  At WiseTech Global, I lead a team of product people focussed on planning, developing and supporting an accounting product used by thousands of businesses globally.These businesses are our valued customers and rely on our products to manage their billing, costing and general accounting needs.Our goals are to develop high performance accounting products focussed on improving the productivity of our clients and to build products that are deeply compliant in even the most complex global regions.We do this as part of the CargowiseOne platform and is fully integrated with its operations supply chain systems and contains complete multi-branch, multi-department and multi-currency functionality in the Receivables, Payables, Cash Book, Job Costing and General Ledgers.

  I was part of a team of developers that was working on our next generation product, which became ediEnterprise. I was part of the accounting product development team and we developed the ediEnterprise Accounting product as a fully integrated and deeply functional accounting system, designed for our logistics execution customers.My responsibilities included systems analysis, programming, unit testing, functional testing and peer reviews of code and functionality. It was here, with my mentors Lawrence Wee and Richard White, that I learnt how to engineer software products in order to manage the complex business software needs of our customers.This experience set me up for my next role as Product Manager of Accounting Products and gave me a great appreciation for software development of a broadly used accounting product.
