A case officer and decision maker, I processed visa applications for students, visitors, residents, and businesses. I was also a member of the student compliance unit where I would cancel visas for those who did not meet their visa conditions. Before leaving, I was the Business Intergrity Officer in the Temporary Business Entry unit. I was responsible for detecting any fraudulent trends in the business case load, liaising with other case officers, providing updates and risk alerts, analysing suspect documents, and visiting businesses to ensure they were complying with their obligations.
