My overall mandate is providing leadership to HOPE Uganda, which involves leading the entire program value chain with direct projects to Hope for children and Partners. Key Qualifications & Achievements  A self-starting and resourceful non-profit leader, with experience building international country offices from the ground up – including operations, financing, programmatic, and human capital departments. Built the Hope for Children’s Uganda Office to a team of 200, determining strategy with multiple thematic priorities in the community.  An experienced human resources and organizational manager, creating sustainable policies and procedures for organization-wide budget and project management, tracking and managing both team and project performance, and creating monitoring and evaluation systems.  A skilled fundraiser and community leader, using relationship management skills to secure community member buy-in from international refugee groups, local governments, at-risk and their families, and like-minded organizations.  A committed creator of sustainable and impactful programming, supporting at-risk children and families, public health initiatives surrounding HIV/AIDS and WASH, sustainable Livelihood initiatives, providing quality formal and informal education and community safety.  A strong storyteller and communicator, with the ability to showcase impact and services, while garnering trust, to various community members (children, refugees, government members, etc.) and funders through collateral and content development and in-person interactions.  A creative and committed Child Rights advocate and educator, developing and translating Children’s Safeguarding training manuals and delivering training to over 50 partner organizations, communities where projects and programs have been delivered for over 10years and to schools and children that are within the organization’s projects’ reach, plus community campaigns on children’s rights and safeguarding.
