•Recording financial transactions in compliance with IFRS using ERP Software's like Quick books Online, Tally ERP, Xero and Zoho Books •Passing month end journal entries by ensuring each and every entry is supported by prepayments, fixed asset, staff loans and advances, end of service benefits and provision schedules •Processing payroll by reviewing employee timesheets and calculating overtime to provide accurate figures to the management for approval •Closing accounts monthly/quarterly/yearly after reviewing and analyzing Aged Receivable and Payables reports, reconciling bank accounts, petty cash accounts, business Wallets/Portals and inter company accounts •Value Added Tax (VAT) return preparation and submission, ensuring compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) rules and regulations •Preparing monthly/yearly management reports like Trial balance, Profit & Loss, Balance sheet and Cash flow with accompanying schedules •Coordinating with Internal and External auditors for year end audits •Examining and analyzing accounting records and financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to the higher management •Supporting the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls •Maintains confidentiality of financial information by completing database backups
