Takas.lk was founded with venture funds in 2012. Imesh joined us soon afterwards. Imesh played a pivotal role in making takas.lk a success! He took on the responsibility and the initiative on projects and saw them to its end. Furthermore, he was a critical factor in some of the most strategic decisions that we have taken. Imesh interned at Trekurious a few months after the company was launched... a critical time for us. An important requirement was to be nimble in terms of releasing beautifully designed EDMs, FB covers pages, flyers, and posters to short deadlines. He took on this role with ease and proved to be not only skillful in executing our design requirements, but also extremely creative in suggesting design ideas. He proved, quite easily, that he could handle short deadlines and work under pressure. Some added benefits of Imesh's internship were his networking skills and idea generation. Trekurious creates and promotes experiential tours and activities and Imesh not only came up with an innovative idea for an experience to celebrate an important holiday, he also sourced the host and helped execute it. During his internship at Trekurious, Imesh was also helping out two other startups and he did this without any noticeable drop in the efforts he put in at Trekurious. He was also, during this time, involved in the production of a play that performed to a sell-out crowd in Colombo… ample proof of his ability to multi-task and to manage his time. I wish Imesh all the best for the rest of his academic life and would happily recommend him for a suitable role at any organization.
