When i was organizing TEDx esfahan, I meet Iman. We asked him to be a speaker candidate and after a While ha was one of our team friends. he speak on our stage as well as a professional public speaker. his opinion (and facts) about stress management on psychology and bird watching was remarkable. He passionate about birds and speak scientific but simple with a smile.
Ellie Nasr-Azadani
I met Iman in 2016 when we were both working on a conversation-related project. At that time, he was 22; I was impressed that a person this age knew this much about nature and conservation. Since then, I have found him one of the most influential individuals raising public awareness about birds' lives and conservation. When he founded the AvayeBoom Bird Conservation Society in Iran with a few of his students, the number of people familiar with bird-watching was very limited. However, today, thanks to his neverending endeavors, hundreds of people in his hometown Isfahan and Iran, spend their leisure time watching birds, protecting them and their habitats. As a leader in programs conducted by AvayeBoom, Iman has consistently shown an undeniable talent in turning anyone with interest in his cause into devoted volunteers. Using his solid background in psychology, he then guides volunteers into roles that allow them to have meaningful contributions to effective conservational plans. Such management has boosted the number of volunteers in AvayeBoom from seven to more than 280 in just a few years. In 2016, I volunteered with AvayeBoom as a child education specialist. At that time, Iman had launched a campaign called "Hello Bird" (#سلام_پرنده in Farsi), where people were invited to acknowledge birds' values by simply greeting them. In just a few weeks, hundreds of birds images with the Hello Bird hashtag were uploaded to social media! This simple interaction made many individuals curious, then interested in further conversation activities. I saw the same pattern in all other programs he initiates.
