  The Senior Prefectship is the highest post of leadership that can be held by a student of the Royal College and is literally the dream of all Royalists. Only about 80 (out of 8,000) students are chosen, yearly, by merit and interviews to commit to the college as the highly prestigious and respected Council of Prefects. With over 90 years of history and tradition, this students’ body continues and improves upon the quality of individual students as well as the college at large.The appointment of Senior Prefect is preceded by a probationary period of about four months during which they are being mentored by the outgoing Council of Prefects. At the annual general assembly, the whole body of students and the entire academic staff bear witness to the promotion of Probationary Prefect to Senior Prefect on receiving the Silver (Prefect’s) Badge. As a Senior Prefect of Royal College I, together with my fellows in the Prefects’ Council for 2014 & 2015, provided leadership for more than 50 student bodies and associations, and more than 30 sports groups. As a Senior Prefect I also represented the voice of the students with the college stakeholders while performing all the typical and special activities of the Prefects' Council of Royal College. During my one year period as Senior Prefect, I oriented myself around Leadership, Teamwork, Conflict Prevention and Resolution, Strategic vision & Planning, Project & Event Planning, Public Speaking and Ambassadorship.
