  ImageMakers Digital is fortunate to be in a position of producing print solutions using some of the best print technology on the market. Here is an insight into our in house plant. We currently have two fantastic Lightjet 5000 printers, relying on them to produce not only our entire colour Digital C Types up to 48” wide, but also our Black and White prints as well as the fantastic backlit duratrans. The Cymbolic Sciences Lightjet 5000 was one of the first laser printers to produce Digital C Types. The technology uses a continuous roll to roll single beam, 3-laser (RGB) exposure system. The combination of size flexibility and image quality has made the Lightjet a staple of the best photographic labs across the world. How does it work?, digital information is exposed directly onto conventional photographic media. Linear writing speed is superfast: up to 65 cm per minute with a 305 ppi (equal to an apparent resolution of 4000 dpi) resolution. The Lightjet 5000 produces images with the highest possible resolution (68 billion colours!!!). Show less
