I had the honor of working with Ilya Akhter on a volunteer medical mission into Ukraine during the Russian invasion. Mr. Akhter oversaw security and served as a liaison with local authorities and hospital leadership. As a result of his tremendous work, our non-government organization was successful in training several thousand citizens and military soldiers on tactical combat casualty care, providing urgent medical care in austere conditions, and delivering high-level combat surgery education. Due to the nature of combat, this mission was dangerous, stressful, and unpredictable, His work allowed me to seamlessly integrate with Ukraine hospitals and physicians. Despite being in a combat zone and in a foreign country, our surgical team always felt safe due to his efforts. His expertise and leadership enabled us to collaborate with the local police, the local government, the Territorial Defense Force, and the Ukrainian Army. Due to this, several more surgical teams were subsequently able to travel into Ukraine and continue the mission to support Ukraine in their crisis. Without his contributions, this would not have been possible. I would recommend him for any task that involved security, protection, and confidentiality. He has extensive experience in these areas in several different environments.

Divided into small groups, the team was fully capable of operating independently within enemy lines conducting deep reconnaissance, direct action, and other supportive arms deemed necessary to the IDF. Using combined methods of heliborne, airborne and waterborne insertions and extractions, in cohesion of conventional warfare, the unit was also capable of performing unconventional "black" and counter-terrorism operations.
