  My daily work is related to the development of various publicity materials for media groups from Scandinavian countries. The main responsibilities include developing a graphic design of digital materials and the final product - web banners, animated video etc. Most of the duties relate to the graphic design of various printed materials - booklets, newspaper advertisements, printed editions of different magazines, for example Aller Sweden and Elle Sweden.   One of the core parts of my work was to organize educational processes: monitoring the professional development of library staff, coordinating and implementing training provided by librarians, and conducting training. My main responsibilities involved facilitating and supporting learning by teaching information retrieval skills to students and staff in classrooms or in a virtual learning environment. My other responsibilities were publicity, administration of the library section of the UL website (TYPO3), scientific research, participation in projects, seminars and conferences, as well as the organization and coordination of seminars related to the field of libraries.

  As a librarian, I had to be in frequent contact with students and staff in several faculties. I was responsible for issuing and receiving information resources from users, updating and managing resource records, both electronically and in print; to assist researchers in searching for literature through databases, printed resources and the Internet; provide information and learning skills courses for students and staff; consideration of user issues, which may include point-to-point consultation sessions. A significant part of the work was covered by research projects related to the daily work of the library and participation in seminars and conferences (Latvia, Estonia, Portugal, Croatia, Czech Republic). My other duties were preparation of press releases, publicity materials, training materials; administration of the library section of the UL website (TYPO3) and Twitter account; organization, coordination, photography of events related to library - opening of books, opening of exhibitions, etc.
