I met Ilnur at an Enhanced Oil Recovery Meeting a few years ago, attended his presentation regarding the operation of a polymer flood in Arctic conditions, and had conversations with him during the meeting. I have also read Ilnur's publications regarding polymer flooding, and was impressed by the technical content.
