The course provided a fundamental understanding of object-oriented programming with Java and test automation concept. Throughout the training, I was developing test automation scripts for web applications using Java programming language, Selenium/Selenide, JUnit, Lombok libraries, and Gradle build automation tool. Apart from that, I am acquainted with a framework based on POM (Page Object Model) and such BDD (Behavior-driven Development) tool as Cucumber. Ultimately I accomplished the course with a self-delivered test automation project applying techniques that were obtained during the automation course. Show less

During the QA course, I got fundamental knowledge about manual testing and QA best practices. The course was packed with theoretical and practical training. The major part of the course was dedicated to testing levels, approaches as well as techniques. Besides, I got my first experience in test cases/checklist writing and SDLC. Together with team members we analyzed software requirements, tested web applications, and detected bugs. Additionally, I went through such topics as HTML, CSS, and SQL (simple queries). As a result, I successfully mastered the course with a strong basic knowledge of quality assurance and practical experience in software testing. Show less
