  Review /assess the technical specification, BOQ, Design drawings.Direct the team for identifying all Mechanical long lead items in the project and develop the projects procurement plan including the procurement schedules and ensure the full implementation of the same and the completion of the procurement phase within the milestones. Develop the projects procurement plan including the procurement schedules and ensure the full implementation of the same by the procurements Engineers. Review the prepared RFQ/RFQ to assure that potential suppliers /sub-contractors are able to send their proposals based on the provided Data.Coordinate with the Engineering department for the design modification / TQ issuance where necessary. Evaluation of the technical and commercial comparisons to ensure the level of compliance of all proposals against project requirement.Review periodically the procurement schedules with the sub-ordinate Engineers and ensure the proper and full update of the same.Review and assess all prepared technical submittals to ensure the compliance of the proposed materials.Attend the technical meetings with consultant and client and reply their technical clarifications / comments.Attend technical and inspection meetings with suppliers when needed.Support and guide the Estimation Department for pricing and finalizing the main packages.
