  I read and reviewed translations of medical, financial, technical and general language texts for translation agencies. For publishers I edited books and proof-read magazines, revised the text stylistically, reviewed the translations. I have translated and edited several children’s book series, also edited books about general management, marketing, finance, accounting, travelling, even edited and reviewed the Hungarian translation of OECD Country Notes. I translated updates for publications with ready-for-print illustrations coming from abroad. When editing school-books I had to list facts in order to help the authorities to decide which books to publish.

  The company’s owner is the international publishing house Wolters Kluwer with headquarters in the Netherlands. My duties were managing and editing different kinds of publications (books, newsletters, loose-leafs). I assisted at the “birth” of several brand new publications: I came forward with new ideas as to what to publish, selected the authors, literary advisors and, if need be, members of the professional editing team, signed contracts, kept in touch with the people involved, edited and proof-read the texts, reviewed the translations. The subjects of books edited by me range from general management to psychology, from human resource to finance, from taxation and stock exchange to accounting.
