During the traineeship within the Greens Secretariat at the CoR, I developed good expertise in the EU political and legislative process, as well as policy analysis, evaluation and drafting skills to produce briefings, background information and newsletters, in particular on the climate and energy sectors. Furthermore, I have improved my organisational skills while assisting the team with event planning, preparing communication materials and voting lists, liaising and supporting Greens Members' activities within the CoR.

During the internship at the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions I have been working on the implementation of four InterregMED projects on blue growth, circular economy and sustainable tourism. My main tasks involved organizing and covering events (drafting briefing notes and minutes, preparing the agenda, note-taking), communication activities (updating the social networks of the projects, drafting newsletters), and participating in coordination meetings with project partners. Policy Officer (Trainee)

I had the opportunity to work as a trainee for Carbon Market Watch, a Brussels-based NGO advocating for major environmental policy changes at the EU and international level. My tasks involved policy research, data collection and advocacy assistance on EU climate and energy policies, such as the EU Carbon market (ETS), the quality of national and energy climate plans (NECPs) at the European level, and the role of aviation in the EU climate action. Additionally, I provided communication support by drafting articles, briefing notes, and translating documents. Finally, I supported the organisation of online workshops and seminars.

Project Officer (Trainee)

I worked as a Project Officer on the implementation of an InterregMED project, Chebec, in which I supported the organization of events, communication and administrative activities. Furthermore, I assisted the organization of two important business events in the Italian economic scenario, Bologna StartUp Day and Research to Business. The interaction with a multicultural and international environment was on the agenda, given that I was supporting the implementation of two projects aimed at financing the intercultural exchange of artists between China and Italy.
