I have taken part in multiple of Springpod's virtual work experiences such as: ICAEW's Step Inside Accountancy Virtual Work Experience programme and Springpod's Finance Virtual Work Experience programme. During these programmes I gained: - A greater understanding of the inner workings and concepts related to accounting and finance, and the ability to identify the skills needed to peruse a career in this sector - The ability to successfully apply knowledge of accounting by completing interactive exercises and activities (such as through completing a workbook of all of the knowledge that I gained) - Meaningful interaction with industry professionals through live webinars - A better understanding of the different career pathways within accountancy - Knowledge of key employability and transferable skills, as well as a sound awareness of employer expectations Show less
