Assigned by the Operation Manager to replace and perform the role of previous Project Manager as the person in charge of Telekom Malaysia (TM) related matter. To attend meeting with TM personnel at Menara TM Bangsar and act as company’s representative, to report and provide information on fabrication progress and actual timeline on their order. Make arrangement on items and quantity to be delivered to TM by having proper documentation (DCS, Appendix A, Jadual 1) through TM MQAC portal. Perform internal inspection on finished product dimension, galvanize coating thickness, and packing/labelling before FAT with TM representative. Plan and make decision on which components to be FAT by TM representative, based on the expiry date of the Delivery Confirmation Slip (DCS) and forecasting the production of individual components/parts. For every Request For Order Confirmation (RFOC) by TM, to review and study on the raw material of every component required, to be presented to Operation Manager for approval prior PO issuance. Ensure smooth process from material/component availability, long lead items, fabrication, FAT with customer representative and on time delivery. In house Murphy Oil’s Production Riser Tensioner (PRT) cylinder servicing - cylinder barrel honing, piston rod dye penetrant inspection, barrel ID surface roughness inspection, sandblasting and 3 coat marine painting as per customer requirement. Responsible for Favelle Favco and FES Equipment Services oil and gas / cranes jobs and orders. (Eg; Luffing cylinder, Climbing cylinder). Person in charge to manage, keep record and prepare documentation on customer’s completed jobs. (Eg; Inspection Test Plan – ITP, mill certificates, cylinder drawing, pressure test reports, NDT test reports, mechanical test reports, sandblasting and painting reports, manufacturer data reports). Material sourcing such as rods, steel plates and round bars from local and overseas supplier. Review mill certificates and purchase material with its cost (price/kg), transportation and shipping cost, lead time and delivery time taken into consideration. Wide range of material procured, most notably for offshore cranes with charpy requirement minimum 27J individual and 34J average tested at -20’c such as S355J2, EH36, ST52-3, and A350LF2. Other material frequently procured are AISI 4340, C45, 1045 and 1191. Material testing (tensile test, charpy test and chemical analysis test) at Nusantara Technologies (Nusatek) with Favelle Favco / FES QC and third party (Bureau Veritas) for 3.1 to 3.2 material requirement conversion, according to British Standard (BS) or American Standard (ASTM). Perform FAT on the cylinder witnessed by Favelle Favco / FES QC and Bureau Veritas representatives before sending out for sandblasting and marine coat painting. Show less
