  Field of responsibility: - development of physical models for optical communication system's components (lasers, transmitters, modulators, fibers, digital signal processing units etc.); - preparation of technical specifications and prototypes (Matlab, Mathematica, Python) of components models for further implementation in software code; - support of regression testing of simulation engine (part of software code responsible for simulation of optical communication system's components); - preparation of technical documentation (User manuals) Several project I took part: - transmitters and receivers for advanced modulation formats (mQAM, PAM-M) - digital signal processing algorithms (FFE, DFE, TDE_MIMO, Resampling etc.) - development of virtual analyser for optical, electrical and digital signals (visualization and analysis of spectrum, waveform, eye diagram, constellation and signal metrics calculation like BER/SER, OSNR, OSDR, EVM, Eye Opening, Jittter, Linearity etc.) Show less
