  The Reforms Delivery Office (RDO) is an advisory body to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with focus on ensuring consistency of delivery of reforms, and Public Administration Reform, in particular. The RDO consultants are a group of Ukrainian professionals funded by the international donors to provide targeted technical support and assistance to the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and to the respective ministries in the course of designing and implementation of the sectorial strategies and priority reforms. Key responsibilities: Ensuring the provision of recommendations on Privatization and State-owned Enterprises (SOE) Reform, as well as improving the corporate governance in SOEs, in particular taking into account the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance.

Key achievements: • Policy recommendations on good governance for major railway projects, including HS2, Crossrail, East West Rail were developed. The research question includes: • the level of government control over the infrastructure project implemented by state-owned-company; • legal framework for the relationship between the Government and the company; • stakeholder’s engagement model for the infrastructure project.

  Designing and leading livelihoods and affordable housing related advocacy, which aims at developing a better business environment in Eastern Ukraine under the DFID and SDC Livelihoods Assistance Programme for Eastern Ukraine. Key achievements: • Affordable Housing Project with a reputable German donor institution was developed • Advocacy Planning Matrix developed with 14 advocacy issues for small and medium enterprises in Eastern Ukraine identified • Draft law on wage taxation was developed and registered in the Parliament • Networking and cooperation with 15 key national stakeholders were established • Four position papers were developed and shared with national and international stakeholders • Two handbooks on conducting entrepreneurship activity was developed • Input to quarter and annual DFID reports was provided Key responsibilities: ▪ identify key advocacy issues and obstacles hindering economic development in Ukraine, design and lead advocacy intervention; ▪ establish a networking and cooperation with key stakeholders on local and national levels, develop stakeholder map; ▪ address solution for identified problems by developing position papers and draft laws, organise and participate in roundtable discussions, address developed recommendations to the key advocacy stakeholders on the local and national level; ▪ draft quarter, semiannual and final Programme reports. ▪ participate in the project development and proposal drafting for DFID, SDC, ECHO projects; ▪ establish the implementation and coordinate realisation of the legal assistance within Livelihood programme in 2 field offices; ▪ establish livelihood-related advocacy activities with implementing partners in Dnipro and Zaporizka oblasts.

"Democracy Study Centre" is structured in explorative formats that allow fellows reflect their experiences and develop group projects throughout the course of the programme. Working with the team under the production of the video course “Civil society and government: effective instruments of cooperation”. The aim of the Project is to encourage young people to contribute to the society and country, show how to influence policy-making process locally and globally, how they can successfully collaborate with local authorities, state, business to reach the desired results and how to provide advocacy campaign and start the initiative.
