Mu Delta Alpha is a professional sorority that focuses on helping all woman use their diverse identity and culture to move forward and to better their workplace. I was apart of a team to start a chapter at Wichita State University. WSU’s chapter is the 4th in the nation, and the first non Texan chapter. The Vice President position includes, serving as an alternative organization spokesperson, facilitates team meetings, communicates with other organizations, is a member of the Multicultural Greek council, runs disciplinary hearings, and encourages member accountability.

My time at ISW was a brief voluntary position. ISW is the community center I was raised in, when I was asked to fill in till they found a permanent manager I was happy to serve my community. The office manager position included answering questions directed to ISW, answering phone calls, directing messages and emails, scheduling room reservations, putting together employee daily schedules and purchasing supplies for the facility.
