      • 2016 - 2018

In 2016 LICA became a local International Coach Federation Chapter of Long Island, New York. From 2016 to 2018 ICF Long Island supported their local community of coaches with professional development and networking. One of our notable accomplishments as an ICF Chapter during this time was hosting a Program led by Guest Presenter, Mary Anna Wright, PCC who served as our Facilitator live from Dublin, Ireland. Mary Anna Wright's event 'Demystifying Marketing' was attended by individuals in-person at the Hampton Inn and was also delivered as a live simulcast webinar for individuals online. In early 2018 our Monthly Meeting Chapter Venue changed from the Hampton Inn in Jericho to the Residence Inn by Marriott in Plainview in January 2018.

      • 1997 - 2016

In 1997, ICF-Long Island, Inc., The Long Island Coaching Alliance was founded as a chapter of the International Coach Federation by a group of executives, businesses, and professional coaches. It was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 2001. The founding coaches developed ICF-Long Island, Inc. as a means of creating support for one another; a forum for professional development; and community outreach programs. As the chapter grew the Monthly Meeting Chapter Venue changed from the Milleridge Inn in Jericho to the Hampton Inn in Jericho.
