I worked as occupational safety specialist of Aegean Zone of the company. My responsibilities in six main warehouses and eighteen sub warehouses (İzmir, Aydın, Denizli, Bursa and Eskişehir) of the company are; To present the sugestions by contributing the Occupational Health and Safety Policy of the Company To work in cooperation with other managers in the Company To report potential risks by performing risk analysis and also follow and inspect to be created action plans about this subject To determine the Fire and Explosion Index for the company by making essential calculations with DOW’s Method and prepare of the Document of The Fire and Explosion Protection. To prepare and follow the applications of procedures, instructions and plans about the field of Occupational Health and Safety. To prevent and contribute to study of improvement which happened work accident and after report and follow the improvements about this subject. To supply safety equipments for the employees and follow the usage of the equipments by them. To determine and provideto periodic education which is basic and obligated legally such as education of lifting-transport equipment or basic OHS etc. To follow the periodic controls of the essential equipments (forklifts, cranes etc.) To manage to be provided health and hygiene of employees and disposal of the hazardous waste.
