Consultant: Parsons Position : Project Superintendent This is a design-build project consists of new facilities and infrastructure for the RSLFAC, to support their Apache Helicopter Aircraft. The project includes design and construct one (1) Rotary Wing Maintenance Hanger, one (1) Ground Support Facility, one (1) Spare Parts Warehouse and required airfield pavements to connect features to existing, roads, parking, and infrastructure works for utilities to facilities, features, furnishing and warehouse shelving. Duties & Responsibilities • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements • Identifies and confirms the availability of resources needed and assigns individual work responsibilities for look-ahead schedules and for the execution of daily construction efforts • Timely advice Project Manager of shortfalls and develop contingency plans to ensure that work stays on schedule and budget. • Reviews plans for and manages the execution of all work with our subordinate engineers, subcontractors, and firm personnel. • Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary. • Communicate with the Clients representatives continuously regarding project progress and areas of concerns. • Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team working on the supervision of the construction of the buildings activities including the site engineers and the work inspectors. • Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project. • Motivates subordinates, subcontractors and others to top performance.   Owner : MARAFIQ (Power & Water Utility Company) PMC : ILF Consulting Engineers Position : Resident Engineer from December 2019 to April 2021. The project includes construction of a new Sanitary Wastewater (SWW) Pump Station PS-56A with a total capacity of 100,000 m3/day (average). and 12.6 kilometers force-main pipeline with Diameter 1200 mm including 32 Concrete Chambers from PS-56A to Sanitary Wastewater Treatment Plant – 9 (SWTP-9). This project will also construct part of the force-main pipeline 3.8 kilometers with diameter 900 mm including 7 Concrete chambers from Jubail Town, starting from JIC (Jubail Industrial City) boundary to PS-56A. Also, The SWW pump station have a Pump-station building, SEC Interface building, an Electrical/Control building, Diesel Generator building, Odor Control system, Ventilation& Air Conditioning systems, Fire protection systems, etc. Duties & Responsibilities • Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team working on the supervision of the construction of the pipeline and Electrical & Pumps buildings activities including the site engineers and the work inspectors. • Reviewing the shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, any requests for information relating to the pipeline, pump station and associated works. • Coordinate with ILF' design Engineers for resolution of related issues. • Liaise with all parties for site safety and quality of works. • Coordinate with the Contractor on scheduling and application of resources. • Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project. • Comply with safety, health and risk management requirements. • Coordinate with the Royal Commission to expedite the approval of Permanent Land Allocation Request and required Encroachment permits. • Generally, supervise, review, monitor and report on progress of the pipeline, buildings and associated work.
