I was a Field Engineer intern at DOSCO Petroservices SRL and an additional week with OMV Petrom ASSET VI MUNTENIA. I was a Field Engineer intern at DOSCO Petroservices SRL and an additional week with OMV Petrom ASSET VI MUNTENIA. Work in the internship included: - An intensive Safety induction was delivered by the HSE officers of DOSCO and OMV Petrom before starting field work. - A tour of the DOSCO Floresti Base where I was introduced to all the facilities. - Rig familiarization where I attended an active drilling rig (1324 Moreni) in which I was introduced to all the rig components and systems, - Detailed description and lecturing of Daily Drilling program, Well Planning and Design covering all aspects of preparation and execution. - Visit to BAT Targoviste tubular base, where I saw all kinds of tubulars related to drilling, production, and workover (conductors, Casing strings, DP, HWDP, DC, Pup joints, production tubing, XO, Production packers, Fillets). - Detailed theory of Fishing/Milling operation in addition to hands on exposure to each tool of the collection at DOSCO. In addition to jars and energizers function, limitations, and placement design and simulation. - BOP stack types (Annular, VBR, Blind, Pipe, Shear), classification, and configurations (Single, Double, Triple) all at DOSCO base. In addition to pressure testing for determining any fractures or leaks in the BOP body. - Presentation of the hammering equipment, Plan, and attending a full hammer job of 2, 11 meters long conductor pipes, in Baicoi using a 90 Ton hydraulic hammer. I was in charge of recording and reporting the hammering process. - A visit to Weatherford base where I got hands on exposure to all the Wireline (GR, Resistivity, SP, Caliper, etc.), MWD/LWD, Mud Motors, and RSS (“push the bit” type). - Visit to a steam generation and injection facility in Dealu Batran, workover Rig at Bucsani, Bucsani Tank farm, and a sucker rod pump assembly workshop at Moreni.
