Participation in two projects:•The MOWE-IT project examined extreme weather events and how they affect transport systems and their operation. I was part of a team responsible for obtaining data along with analysis and visualisation of such and providing deliverables and presentations. •Information and Communication Technology ICT applications on urban centers. During this time i was responsible for the edit and visualisation of a road network of a small port city of Greece, Igoumenitsa, in which we suggested and finally implemented Informative Traffic Signs in order to provide real time information regarding local traffic conditions. Within these projects, I acquired significant skills in advanced analytical tools, including ArcMap GIS and PTV Visum.

During my internship,i participated in the Rail 4SEE project which was related to rail transport and at the time the project examined the correlation between land use changes and estimation of future transport trends. My main responsibilities were to identify and analyse, through urban plans, future land use changes and provide a detailed literature review of previous studies conducted within this research topic. Following that, we provided the formation of a methodology of identification of future transport trends through land use changes and examined an application for the city of Thessaloniki, which was later on published on TeMa Journal of Land Use, Mobility and Environment.
