I always found Ian to be thorough, helpful and highly credible during our time as peers at IESA Ltd. I particularly enjoyed working together to save £180,000 in payments to HMRC over a three year period. We combined our knowledge and skills in Finance, Process Improvement and IT to identify and evidence Digital projects which qualify for Research and Development tax relief. It contributed to an improved cash position of the company as it headed toward its exit sale with new parent Electrocomponents Plc. This was the first time that IESA Ltd had ever claimed back from HMRC on this initiative, and now the process is embedded, it saves IESA Ltd approximately £60,000 in cash every year.

Ive worked with Ian for the past 6 years and have always valued his contributions in all projects and meetings. Ian has a keen eye for detail, a sharp financial brain and has played a leading role in many successful commercial projects, not only those regarding finance. An excellent asset to any team

I have had an amazingly rewarding time in caring for my daughter between leaving Nursery and starting Primary School (lots of numbers and letters, lots of swimming and running, lots of fun). I have also made use of the huge online resource available to CIMA Members, which is of the highest quality. I would recommend this to everyone with an interest in continuous professional development.
