Since joining the team, Ismaila has quickly learnt the Microsoft corporate ways of doing things and landing some of our key developer community initiatives including: - Academia engagement with technical students, coaching them and sharing learning materials and software e.g. DreamSpark - Encouraging them to participate in the Imagine Cup competition in order to innovate and use their skills to find solutions for the global challenges(Health, Education) - Engaging with students and developers on how they can use their skills to gain money by publishing apps in the store (monetize their apps) thus it will be a solution for the unemployment challenge. - His collaboration with other segments in a mutual beneficial team spirit. Ismaila is a great team player. He also played a critical role by engaging with some of our biggest customers and show the value of our Developer Platform and devices, and successfully drive revenue consideration and revenue growth in those accounts.
