Working in a team of five upholsters my first role is as an upholsterer working to high standards of quality and deadlines, I upholster a range of different products from Stannah seating parts to cinema seats and bench seats to massage table parts. Working to different job orders I am trained on a Gerber cutting machine which I then select the correct fabric for the job and cut all the required parts. I am also trained on the C-Gex systems upholstery press which I place the upholstered products on that have glue sheets inside to eliminate the drumming of the fabric and to mould the fabric into shape. From time to time I am also called on to demonstrate what the C-Gex can do for potential clients all the time explaining the whole process as it happens. I am also proficient at doing daily checks and doing most repairs when necessary. I am also on a driving list so I have delivered orders to customers and also finished off some upholstery jobs as well as installing on location Show less
