  Directly responsible to the SPS Board for delivery of large scale mission critical projects. Included within this project portfolio were leading on the opening of Scotland's second private prison and the delivery of new prison places through 'whole prison' builds at Low Moss and Grampian in the public sector.   This Governor in Charge role involved the full legal and functional integration of two distinct open prisons 30 miles apart to enhance operational output, manage the risks associated with 500 prisoners many of whom have community access and simultaneously generating efficiency savings on a significantly sized base budget. Created savings and efficiencies through new systems of staffing deployment, service provision models and expansion of community involvement
