Dealing with my own case-load of insurance claims that involved the hire of a vehicle for the third party. I would establish liability with the customer and deal with all aspects of the third party claim from notification until settlement. The aim was policy holder satisfaction and achieving the lowest cost possible to the company. I worked for Esure.com in the third party claims department where I dealt with split liability cases involving credit hire from notification until settlement. For this role I was required to settle claims quickly and for the least amount of money using relevant case law, industry agreements such as the ABI GTA and my own judgement. I had the responsibility of dealing with all non injury third party cases that involve the credit hire companies, Drive Assist and Accident Exchange. These companies had many claims with Esure.com and cost the company a great deal of money. I had these responsibilities to ensure good working relationships with both companies and identify ways of saving money in these claims, which I helped to achieve as part of the Credit Hire Team within the department. It was here where I gained the Certificate In Insurance from the Charted Institute of Insurers (CII).
