      • Work-shadowed James Deacon and Susan O’Rourke and was directed day-to-day on specific cases to read-through. • Attended an Employment Tribunal re grounds of unfair dismissal regarding potential disability and gained my first legal experience in a courtroom-like situation. •Attended two murder trials at the Old Bailey with Solicitor John Appleseed, gaining an insight into criminal law through the lens of an intense adversarial approach to cross-examining by the prosecution barrister, which was criticised by the trial Judge. • Visited the RCJ and the TCC for guided tours with Solicitor Richard Booth, and briefly sat in the public galleries for criminal trials and construction hearings of both courts respectively. • Created a spreadsheet for a bakery dispute, logging cake constituents, and identifying potential risks regarding a rogue ingredient (marzipan).
