Peter Burke

Ian is a complete IT professional who was able to use his considerable infrastructure design experience in solving many complex technical problems, often to highly challenging deadlines. In producing infrastructure design for a Siebel-based application he was able to ensure that the cost advantages of cloud infrastructure could still be achieved despite some core application components requiring physical hardware, by producing a balanced hybrid physical / cloud hosting solution. Ian delivered an excellent technical result, that was secure to HMG OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE standards, and cost effective, all while tackling many process and organisational difficulties along the way. I would definitely use Ian’s services again.

I worked with Ian whilst at TCS during a major project for the DBS. Ian has exhaustive infrastructure architecture knowledge as well as a good understanding of business process. I have always found in Ian someone who can provide reliable input and always responsive even when at full capacity with other work. I would gladly work with Ian as a key member of a team if we were to work together again, and would have no hesitation in recommending him to any future employer.
