Oh, you think you can succeed on Amazon all by yourself? That's cute.If you're not already killing it, you should probably talk to someone at CANOPY. Oh, you think you can succeed on Amazon all by yourself? That's cute.If you're not already killing it, you should probably talk to someone at CANOPY.

Oddly enough, I'm actually a member of the Expert Institute, where I serve at need as an expert witness in stadium seating manufacturing and design, code compliance, etc.I'm literally an expert at bleacher design - isn't that weird? Remember that time I designed structural steel elements for the metals recycling industry? Man, what a trip! I learned a lot at that job, including that I wasn't that good at it, nor was I into it enough to stick around. This was a fun one - great team of people and I learned a ton about quality control, tooling design, lean manufacturing, automotive standards, etc.I worked there as a tooling designer, packaging compliance engineer, and was the engineering rep for the Continuous Improvement team.Got laid off the week before Christmas from an RIF - c'est la vie! Remember making money before you had all those responsibilities?I don't, but this is the job I had when that was the case. I was a draftsman, BoM checker, designer, and all-around fun kid to have around.Part-time (summers) from 2001-2006; full-time from 2006-2014. This is how I became a bleacher expert!
