Bio
Nathan Mayer
I'm proud to call Ian a friend and mentor. Ian is a leading force in designing engineering features in XSPOC, the world's leading well monitoring and optimization software. During my tenure with Ian, he led the development of new Rod Lift design features in RODSTAR and XROD, led the engineering development of Electric Submersible Pump and Gas Lift analysis, and helped invent Rod Pump Setpoint Optimization with a team of developers and engineers. Ian is one of the most knowledgeable Artificial Lift engineers I know, and has pushed the state of the art in his field. He is also an exemplary leader, serving others first and balancing competing priorities with grace and self-sacrifice. He's done great things in his role, and will continue to shine as an engineer, product manager, and leader in any field he chooses.
