      • Manage activities of the Pharmacogenomics (PGx) Centre and ensure that policies are followed. • Responsible for the elaboration and implementation of the PGx Centre’s strategic plan, supported by the Director of the PGx Centre and the deputy director of the MHI Research Centre. • Responsible for the elaboration and implementation of the technical and technological strategies of the PGx laboratory platform • Optimize workflows, create new policies and processes • Reach out to potential collaborators and clients to negotiate and secure new contracts in collaboration with the deputy director of the Research Centre, in agreement with strategic planning of the PGx Centre. • Elaborate contractual agreements with external collaborators and clients (master agreement, statement of work, etc.) in collaboration with the contract administrators of the MHI Research Centre. • Manage the PGx Centre’s budget. • Participate in the writing of Grant Applications (PGx and collaborators). • Supervise laboratory technicians and Quality Assurance specialists to ensure employee production and satisfaction and provide constructive feedback. • Plan and monitor the day-to-day laboratory operations in respect of projects priorities, timeline and budget constraints. • In collaboration with the Quality Assurance, ensure the integrity and quality of the laboratory infrastructures, activities and global processes. • Oversee all Quality Management aspects of the Pharmacogenomics Centre • In collaboration with the Quality Assurance, participate in the approval process of quality documents • Participate to the periodic reviews of analytical results to establish quality and variance trends. • Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs for all activities and processes that may have a significant quality impact on the handling, storage and analyses of biological samples, scientific and diagnostic data. • Manage the PGx Centre’s access requests.
