I was Ian’s supervisor in the Maritime Department of the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Ian was fantastic, he was diligent, creative, friendly, and always ahead of schedule. In short, I recommend Ian without hesitation and with great enthusiasm. Ian worked on a number of projects during the course of his employment at NYCEDC. He conducted financial analysis on a proposed real estate development on the Brooklyn waterfront whose owner was seeking City cooperation. His research was critical to determining the value of the City cooperation and was presented at high-level meetings with City and private sector stakeholders. Ian also helped to instill structure and accounting principles to a group of consulting contracts that had a combined value of over $28 million. This work required detail-oriented analysis of thousands of pages of invoices and contract material. Ian showed up to work early and stayed late. He was always positive and a pleasure to work with. He will be an excellent addition to any employer lucky enough to hire him.
