As an Electrical Designer I apply industry standards, company standards, building codes (NEC, IBC, FGI) and energy codes (ASHRAE) to put together simple and complex construction documents. These documents include layout drawings, electrical load calculations, specifications, and facility evaluation reports. I also support construction administration by addressing contractor questions, performing construction observation / punch list reviews, and submittal reviews. All duties are performed while working under a licensed professional engineer and in collaboration with other design disciplines, AHJ’s, utility companies, vendors, and clients.
