The Training Facility Manager reports to the Technical Engineering Director, and is responsible for the day to day operations of the training facility and the tasks of the Technical Service Technicians. He has a close working relationship with the Technical Service Manager and Training Manager, the Technical service Engineers, Business Development Engineers (BDEs) and the Technical Service Co-ordinator, Hands-on support training in the use of existing and newly developed products and/or application techniques for the UK/European Field Sales Team/Distributors/Consultants and their Customers.Communication and liaison with Technical Service, Business Development and other Belzona international personnel to develop new application techniques and new market opportunities.Support services within the Applications Laboratories.Application demonstrations during all head office functions, training courses and head office visits.Test piece samples or wet product samples at the request of the Technical Service Coordinator.Devise and test new application methods in conjunction with Project Managers, Technical Service Technicians and Business Development Engineers.Arranging and assisting with training seminars for UK/European Distributors, Consultants to develop their technical know-how and engineering skills.Hands-on training in the field for UK/European Distributors, Consultants, their Contracting services, as well as Field Sales Engineers/Key Account Managers and Customers.Ensuring safety precautions are taken when working in the field, colleagues and visitors when working in the Applications laboratory.Compliance with the Company Quality Management System policies and procedures and plansReporting of product defects and client application complaints;Identification and logging of improvement opportunities;All training provided to Belzona employees is logged in their training records.
