When Ian states he is a Microsoft application specialist I must add that when I worked at Holden he developed a database using Access and Jet that significantly reduced the volume of work around the registration of hours and attendance for the 500+ employees working there. He has a great eye for detail and an analytical approach to problem solving through fact finding and identifying the root cause. He demonstrated a practical approach to LEAN principles and worked closely with Engineering and directed Maintenance to ensure manufacturing processes included these by design as to reduce waste and ensure first time buy.
