I teach groups of non-English students between the ages of 11 and 17 English as a second language. I teach the Advanced level of English as recognised by Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) following a syllabus which aims to prepare students who may be interested in sitting the Advanced CAE exam. My main aim is to both engage students by making learning fun but to also ensure that learning topics are sufficiently challenging. My teaching mainly covers CAE exam topic areas such as: • Reading and Use of English • Writing • Listening • Speaking I have received very positive anecdotal feedback on my abilities as a teacher over the years, both from feedback students have given to my employer, feedback given directly to me from students and feedback from my employer. I believe that most students I have taught would consider me to be a good teacher. In addition, I also teach students of Beginner, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate levels although my main students are Advanced-level. Show less
