  Head of Science at SSC since 2017, as well as a teacher of senior mathematics, physics and junior science. While managing 11 staff and over 600 students in this role, enrolments in the senior sciences have increased significantly with typically over 40% of the cohort enrolled in Chemistry and Physics and over 60% of students enrolled in Biology. Despite the big numbers, results have been excellent with the 2022 year- 12 cohort median scores as follows: Physics 86; Chemistry 83, and Biology 78. Extracurricular activities are extensive, an example includes the year 11 Science Ambassador Program which delivers a science show to local primary schools and travelled to China in 2019 on a sponsored trip. Also, the STEAM ambassador program for year 8-10 students that delivers lunchtime workshops to primary students.
