As exploration manager for the world class Australian Vanadium Project in Western Australia, I was responsible for managing and administering their time sensitive and extensive field operations. The work I completed ensured the project hit its milestone of releasing a PFS study on time and ensures the company has the geology its requires to hit its next milestone of releasing a DFS in Q4 2019. The PFS requirements were primarily an extensive RC drill out converting resources to reserves, whereas, the DFS required an extensive RC tail and DDH program. I spearheaded a creative large diameter down dip drill program which, with careful and sophisticated management, saved the company millions in their pursuit of >30 tonnes of metallurgical core. The company has now reduced their field operations in order to minimise costs and secure finance for construction. Show less

South African Lithium is a 100% owned subsidiary of Australian Vanadium (ASX:AVL). In my capacity as director I was accountable for all aspects of the operations at their LCT pegmatite project in the northern cape of South Africa. The position required finalising the corporate set up and administrative paperwork to run a company in South Africa and management of a field office, HR, logistics, budgeting, reconnaissance, mapping, soil sampling, drilling, contractors and regular ASX announcements. As the sole staff member employed by AVL in South Africa I completed this independently, effectively reporting to Australian head office. Show less

Using my experience in data-basing, IT, remote sensing, exploration and GIS; I assisted in seeking out and validating new potential ground in Kazakhstan. Adapting a matrix I successfully explored with in Namibia, we identified and systematically ranked targets for future exploration. For the business development of Dragon I sought out and then subsequently marketed geological assets in Australia and Africa.
