Following the acquisition of Alterian by SDL on Jan 30th 2012 I joined SDL to provide Pre-Sales Consultancy across both direct and indirect sales opportunities in EMEA. My role encompassed the following aspects of Pre-sales consultancy including: • Product Positioning and Demonstration; • Presenting Product Updates/Product Roadmaps; • Providing Pre-Sales Training to partners; • Driving/Providing assistance around RFI/ITT/POC processes; • Providing market-based feedback into product development and planning processes; SDL Campaigns (formerly Alterian) offered marketers a single, integrated solution enabling them to meet their customers’ desires for extraordinary multi-channel customer experiences. From simple, automated campaigns to complex, multi-channel campaigns, SDL Campaigns provided marketers with the tools to optimize digital interactions with their customers. By using SDL Campaigns’ powerful customer analytics, business users were able to leverage a Single Customer View to drive multi-channel campaigns with optimized customer content without needing IT. SDL Campaigns enabled marketers to engage with customers from a single solution using optimized content across offline channels (such as direct mail or in-person kiosks) as well as digital channels such as the web, email, SMS, and social media.
