During the past academic year, I have been working on two separate research projects in addition to my own independent Thesis project. These projects focus on the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on various recreational activities in Manitoba. My responsibilities for these projects have included conducting an extensive literature search as well as conducting and transcribing several interviews with participants in the study. During the 2020/2021 academic year I worked as a research assistant for the Rural Development Institute on a project looking at Community Foundations in Manitoba. My responsibilities included working with a research team to develop a systematic literature review identifying the key functions of community foundations. This involved searching databases, reviewing and analyzing literature, identifying key themes, presenting findings to the research team and to our clients, and writing sections of the final report.
