To whom it may concern, I met Hyunkyung when she was an intern at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Throughout her internship in our team, I had the opportunity to work with her on several public diplomacy projects and also get to know her personally. Hyunkyung is a great marketer with great strategic planning. She achieved the goal of promoting the Embassy’s social media channels with her a strategy she developed on her own. As a result, the number of followers has doubled and the content response rate such as likes and comments has increased by 20%. I believe it was possible because she had good strategic thinking. She accurately analyzed the followers’ data and got a clear understanding of how to effectively reach target audiences using a variety of content and events. Moreover, I believe that Hyunkyung would be an excellent addition to any team because she is a great communicator. She was solely responsible for the Digital Public Diplomacy Supporters Program. She built a strong relationship with the digital supporters and managed them to create great content punctually. During my acquaintance with Hyunkyung, she has been not only talented, creative and hardworking, but also very passionate, cheerful and energetic. The value that I appreciated the most was that she was never afraid to ask questions and ask for more work. I am confident to recommend her to any potential employer. Sincerely, Hangyeol Yu Research officer Hgyu16@mofa.go.kr +31 (0)6 81412434

I would like to highly recommend Ms. Hyunkyung Lee based on her proactivity, creativity, and communication skills with her teammates which I witnessed while I worked as Ms. HyunKyung Lee's supervisor within the Public Diplomacy Section at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Netherlands. Within the Public Diplomacy Section, Ms. Lee was mainly responsible for assisting in the planning of major cultural events and posting promotional materials related to Korean culture on social media. In particular, during the preparation of a big cultural event called the Korean Culture Festival in Amsterdam in July 2022, she actively communicated with team members, partners, and volunteers to promote the event and ensure its success. In regard to the management of social media, she successfully managed the embassy's social networks, Instagram and Facebook, creatively selecting topics for posts, organizing a group of supporters for the social media to produce regular posts, and coming up with ideas to provide Dutch translations to introduce Korean posts to Dutch people. Utilizing her expertise in Social media management, she took the proactive and creative initiative to lead the project. Most importantly, Ms. Lee was a great team player. Her smooth and close communication with the employees she worked with helped to increase overall teamwork. During her 8 month work in the Embassy, she built good relationships with both local Dutch and Korean employees. For the above reasons, I believe that Ms. Hyunkyung Lee can play a great role in online marketing and other fields, and I confidently recommend her for this position.
