• Synthesized Iron-Based Complexes (Iron (II) tris (2,2’-bipyridine) sulfate) and other organometallic complexes; performed and analyzed with FTIR and Mass Spec.• Investigate redox behavior of different compounds by cyclic voltammetry (CV) to determine reversible behavior, redox potential, and separation between cathodic and anodic.• Performed linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) by Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE) to calculate limiting current, diffusion coefficient, and electron transfer rate constant for further understanding of kinetic.• The research focuses on improving the solubility of Iron-Based Complexes and prevent its’ dimerization process by adding different additives:o The solubility was studied by using UV-Vis; determine the absorbance of the complexes at different concentration to calculate the absorptivity, then used Beer-Law to calculate the concentration of the complexes plus additives.o Investigate the dimerization rate of Iron-Based Complexes with and without additives by Bulk Electrolysis within situ UV-Vis probe.• Performed battery performance with and without additives to analyze charge/discharge capacity, capacity utilization, voltage efficiency, coulombic efficiency, monomer/dimer capacity. % dimerization and power density.• Improved the capacity of Iron-Based Complexes by targeting redox materialo Synthesized Copper Hexacyanoferrate (CuHCF) by coprecipitation method; performed andanalyzed with FTIR, CV.o Performed battery performance of Iron-Based Complexes with targeting redox material Show less
