Duties and Responsibilities: • Preparation of complete design of all mechanical services (HVAC, Smoke Control, Drainage, Water, Firefighting, LPG) for all types of buildings. • Coordinate and collaborate with architects and engineers within other departments and sub-consultants, clients and authorities. • Prepare mechanical design report and perform design calculations as applicable to design field for all mechanical services with reference to the clients and as per the international standards and local authorities’ codes. • Incorporating all feedback from the project manager and the client to clarify the design and its modifications during the development and construction phases of the project. • Prepare drawings for authorities' submissions and follow up design approval from related authorities. • Trained and supervised junior mechanical engineers in the mechanical Design field. • Supervising the work of Revit and AutoCAD draftsmen on assigned projects. • Attend design meetings with client and design team. • Follow up with the supervision engineers on the execution of mechanical installation at site and solving the problem if any issue coming to site. • Attend progress, technical and coordination meeting on site as required. • Conduct site inspections of mechanical services as required and prepare inspection reports.

    • Heat and Mass Transfers Study during Drying of Deformable Porous Media
      • Jan 2011 - Mar 2014

My PhD simulates and analyzes the heat and mass transfer coupled to the evolution of mechanical behavior that occurs during drying of a deformable porous media. The considered sample is a rectangular porous plate contains two phases solid and liquid. The different walls of the plate are maintained to a convective heat flux. Whereas the water is evaporated via the upper and lower walls of the plate. Basing on the notions of average and the representative elementary volume, we have obtained a general equations system in the macroscopic scale that describes our physical problem. The engine term of the liquid movement is the pressure gradient based on the Darcy- Brinkmann extended model. While the deformation of the solid phase is deduced from the principle momentum conservation based on the same model coupled to the Terzaghi theory. The energy model is based on the local thermal equilibrium assumption between the considered phases. The obtained equations system has been solved numerically by the Lattice Boltzmann method. First of all, we have studied the drying of an isotropic deformable porous media. In this part, we have investigated the effect of mechanical properties on the macroscopic fields. In the second place, we have treated the drying of a deformable porous media hydro-dynamically and thermally anisotropic. The influence of anisotropy properties as well as the drying air parameters on the drying process performance has been presented and analyzed.

    • Mechanical Executive Engineer
      • Jul 2008 - Apr 2009

Duties and Responsibilities: • Prepare the financial report in order to participate in tenders. • Prepare the bill of quantities. • Supervision of executed works & coordination with site management until the project finishes. • Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of necessary material. • Attend monthly meetings with the client project team and prepare monthly progress reports. • Recognize critical design issues and resolve them on time by making necessary design changes and obtaining required approvals. • Coordination with other sections (Architecture, Structure, Electrical, ULV...) during synthesis of shop-drawings. • Prepare the as-built drawings.
