  Salford Racing: Within this the main role assigned to me start of the year was to carryout research on different materials to use on the formula car ie side panels/flooring. We concluded carbon fiber as its light, strong and durable. I than had some free time which I used to help my team leader to prepare the workshop to make the nose cone, and side pods etc. While I carried that out I also helped out on various of different parts of the car such as the engine getting rebuilt. The Chassi for the car arrived around march time, right before it arrived I had designed the side panels on the solidworks model of the car chassi. Which I than took out of solidworks individually as DXF to than be put on illustrator to the size of carbon fiber sheet. To which I than put onto water jet cutting machine. With the help of fellow students and a teacher we prepared the material in our lab that was cut by the water jet machine to the triangle shape of the panels. The panels were than cut out into their shape. We than we put it onto the car with tape and they needed slight trimming on edges (they were curved but needed a specific shape cut) with this we also made holes within them for the screws.   *Stress Aero Engineering: I actively used MSC Patran and Nastran software for finite element analysis (FEA) alongside a senior engineer. We focused on analyzing the stress distribution in a piston to assess its structural integrity under extreme conditions. Extensive FEA analysis identified fatigue patterns, guiding material selection for the piston's design. *Control System Engineering: I played a pivotal role in optimizing complex system performance, mainly unmanned systems for various applications. My responsibilities included developing and testing control algorithms, utilizing Panorama software for simulations to seamlessly integrate control systems into broader infrastructures. *Power & Control System: In this department, I gained theoretical AutoCAD experience, creating sample circuit drawings. Under the guidance of a primary engineer, I independently produced wiring diagrams, managed additions and deletions, and grasped key aspects like colour coding, circuit diagrams, and block cable diagrams, using Roaster CAD software. *IT (Information and Technology): Within IT, I established a LAMP web server with WordPress and created a personal C# website. My exploration extended to database understanding, programming in Java and C#, and identifying a Udemy course to enhance website development coding skills. *Electrical Design Engineering: Collaborating with graduate engineers, I gained valuable insights into electrical systems, including relay functioning and replacement.
